Andy Barnett (radio)

Andy Barnett is a radio talk show host, a national news & political commentator, and a blogger. He has made multiple appearances on national cable news networks including CNN Headline News Channel and MSNBC. In radio his most recent stint was with KNSI radio in Minnesota, but he has also been on the air in Kansas City, Missouri, Topeka, Kansas, Des Moines, Iowa, and Springfield, Missouri.

Radio show

The radio show hosted by Barnett featured a wide variety of guests including national political figures like Ann Coulter, Grover Norquist, Al Franken, Bill Donahue, and Vin Weber. Barnett's program dealt with a variety of topics in news, politics, and social issues. Other frequent guests included Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman, and other local and state politicians. Other organizations frequently invited on the program to discuss various issues were members of the Alliance Defense Fund, the Catholic League, EdWatch, the American Civil Rights Union, The Taxpayer's League, and the Parents Television Council.

Television & Radio Appearances

Barnett has made several appearances on national television to discuss news & politics. A rising young star among conservative pundits, Barnett has been a guest on Hardball with Chris Matthews on MSNBC, the Glenn Beck Show on CNN Headline News Channel, Michael Reagan's syndicated radio show, and Kevin James talk show on KRLA in Los Angeles.

Blog

Barnett's "Culture War Blog" has gained national attention and includes daily posts on news, politics, and social issues that many conservative Americans find relevant.

Education

Barnett is a graduate of Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri with a bachelors degree in mass media. He also attended high school at Overland Christian High School in Overland Park, Kansas.
