Janica Southwick

Janica Southwick ( born December 18, 1978 in Utah) is a foreign personality ("gaijin tarento") in Japan. Fluent in Japanese, Southwick is best known as the host of "NHK Eigorian" a popular children's television show, however she has also appeared regularly on mainstream shows as a commentator and standup comedian.

Southwick moved back to Utah in 2003, but travels to Japan regularly for various projects.

Janica is a 1997 graduate of Northridge High School in Layton, Utah, where she was the Student Body President. She has also studied at the Sophia University.

In 2006, August the 5th, Janica married David Sims in the Sydney Opera house. She then had a baby in 2008. David and Janica named her Isabella.
