East Lancashire Institute of Higher Education

East Lancashire Institute of Higher Education (ELIHE) is based in Blackburn, Lancashire within Blackburn College. It offers over twenty two degree courses and 48% of students achieve first class or 2.1 degrees. The ELIHE is currently situated in an old British Telecom building and has seven floors. The ELIHE has individual schools of education, ranging from Business to Science to Graphic Design and Media. Each school has its designated floor sandwiched between the ground floor which is reserved for administration and the SU* and the seventh floor where the cafeteria is.

Plans were unveiled for a modern new building for the ELIHE, construction began in the summer of 2008 on a site situated nex to the town's ring road and other campus buildings.
