Jeffrey Caissie is a Canadian musician. He was born in Moncton, New Brunswick in 1977, only to be raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. After leaving his former band Porter Hall in 1999, the band released their only material recorded with Caissie; Ten Month Soundtrack (2000). After playing a handful of shows in the Mid-West, Caissie went on to record and release his first solo record I'm just trying not to lose my mind (2002). Often compared to Paul Westerberg and Elliott Smith, Caissie performed several shows with his backing bands The Beatrats, followed by The Jeffrey Caissie Group and then with The Cheating Hearts. In 2007 Caissie released his second album You Can't Replace What You Already Have and began playing shows by himself for the first time in 5 years.

After Caissie reported on his myspace page in 2007 that his next record would be released by local label Saved By Vinyl, Jeffrey has begun playing "solo" shows with Todd Harkness playing second guitar. A new song was released from the upcoming Saved By Vinyl release entitled "Everyone Loves San Francisco" exclusively via his myspace page.

In the summer of 2008 Caissie & Harkness formed a new band named Western Grace featuring members of Alberta based One Shot Left and a few other local musicians.

He currently resides in Alberta, Canada.
