VinylDisc

VinylDisc

The VinylDisc is a combination of an audio CD and vinyl record developed by German company Optimal Media Production. It consists of a silver layer containing Red Book audio (able to hold 70 minutes of audio) and a black polyvinyl chloride layer (able to hold 3 minutes of audio) which can be played on a regular phonograph. The first record to be released in the hybrid format is Fightstar's "Deathcar" single in a limited run of 4000 copies.
