Basic Info

Largs Academy serves the town of Largs and the surrounding areas of Fairlie, Skelmorlie and the island of Greater Cumbrae, Scotland, as well as taking requests from other primary schools across Scotland. The five main cluster primary schools that the academy takes in are:

*Brisbane Primary School - Largs
*Kelburn Primary School - Largs
*Cumbrae Primary School - Millport
*Fairlie Primary School - Fairlie
*Skelmorlie Primary School - Skelmorlie
*St Mary's Primary School-Largs

The school was opened in August 1970 and takes in students aged 12 - 17 in S1 - S6.

Student Council

Largs Academy has a student council with representatives from each year group who listen to what there classmates are saying and bring up suggestions at Student Council meetings, which are held tri-weekly.
