Sennefer, Chancellor

Sennefer, son of Sitdhout, was a long serving ancient Egyptian official under Thutmose II, Hatshepsut, and Thutmose III, married to Taimau. His titles included "Overseer of the Seal" and "Overseer of the Gold-land of Amun". A shrine was dedicated to him at Es-Sibaya, a stone quarrying region some 65 kilometres south of Thebes.
