Michael Gurian

Michael Gurian

Michael Gurian is an American author and social philosopher. He was trained as a family therapist and went on to become a corporate consultant. He has published over twenty-one books several of which were New York Times bestsellers.

Gurian taught at Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University, and Ankara University. He was the founder of the Gurian Institute, which trains professionals who deal with the developmental aspects of childhood. His work tends to focus on gender differences.
