Hackney Wick railway station

Hackney Wick railway station is on the boundary between the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and the London Borough of Hackney in East London. It is on the North London Line, and the station and all trains serving it are operated by London Overground. It is in Travelcard Zone 2. The station opened on the re-routed line which bypassed the site of the former
Victoria Park station in May 1980 as part of the CrossTown Link line from North Woolwich to Camden Road station. On 29 December 1985,the station was the location of one of the murders of the serial rapists John Duffy and David Mulcahy.

The typical service at the station is 4 trains per hour westbound to Richmond via Hackney, Highbury, Camden Road and Willesden, and 4 trains per hour eastbound to Stratford.
