House of Progon

House of Progon

The House of Progon was a decade-long dynasty ruling in the Principality of Albania. Progon ascended to the Albanian throne in 1190 and was later succeeded by his sons Gjin and Dhimitër. The principality reached its heyday during the reign of the latter. The dynasty came to an end in 1216.
