Will Johnson (musician)

Will Johnson is the leader of Texas indie rock band Centro-matic. He also fronts South San Gabriel and releases albums and tours as a solo artist. He is also a founding member of the Undertow Orchestra.

Johnson has appeared in two independent films; Troubadours and Salt Creek County.

Johnson was born in Kennett, MO. He moved to Denton, TX in the early 90's where he attended University of North Texas and was a founding member of the band Funland. After Funland dissolved he formed Centro-matic as a solo project that eventually grew into a full band. Johnson now resides in Austin, TX.

Johnson is an avid sports fan and supports the Greenbay Packers, Saint Louis Cardinals, and Detroit Redwings.
