Joseph Berger (author)

Joseph Berger (born 1945) is the author of several books and has been a contributing editor and writer for the New York Times [http://www.nytimes.com] . Mr. Berger has contributed to several hundred articles at the Times and is a senior staff member, specializing in New York City metro affairs.

Mr. Berger immigrated to the United States in 1950 after his parents were displaced by the Holocaust and World War II.
