ITU Radio Bands

Provision No. 2.1 of the ITU Radio Regulations states:

"2.1 The radio spectrum shall be subdivided into nine frequency bands, which shall be designated by progressive whole numbers in accordance with the following table." [ITU Radio Regulations, Volume 1, Article 2; Edition of 2004]
