Bromley College of Further and Higher Education is situated in the London Borough of Bromley, London, England. It is affiliated to the University of Greenwich.

Bromley College’s main campus, Rookery Lane, is just south of Bromley town centre on the A21. It also has the Hawthorn Learning Centre in Penge and the Beckenham Learning Centre.

The college has approximately 8,000 students enrolled on its full & part-time courses. Founded in 1959 the college aims to offer students skills that are directly transferable to the workplace.

About the college

Formerly Bromley College of Technology, this College offers a large range of full and part time courses from introductory and intermediate levels through to higher national diplomas, foundation degrees and honours degrees. It caters for a variety of students, including: school leavers who are looking for alternative full-time study opportunities; adults looking to take an access course that will qualify them for entry to higher education, people returning to study for up to date qualifications & skills, adults who wish to gain a qualification relevant to their occupation and those who want to study for a University level qualification in a friendly environment closer to home.

tudent Facilities

The Rookery Lane campus offers four different catering facilities, a student common room, stationery shop, day nursery and hair & beauty salons. The college has a modern, learning & resource centre with up-to-date computer facilities. There are now three IT suites in the new centre, with wireless access available in all of the new building, plus additional computers in the resource centre.

The college also benefits from being outside of Bromley town centre, with lots of green open spaces to enjoy and relax in. Lots of sports and social events are organised, taking advantage of the extensive grounds.

New Facilities

Bromley College is investing heavily in Rookery Lane Campus to provide the best possible learning environments for its students. This September (2007) will see the completion of the first phase of a major building project, providing • A new visitor reception and course enquiry centre • An expanded library and learning resource centre • A new Business Conference and Training Centre • Additional modern classroom accommodation • A new catering facility for students and staff • A central courtyard
