Hydrock

Hydrock is an English company providing consultancy and contracting services for construction, infrastructure and the environment. It was formed in 1995 by founding partners Dr Brian McConnell and Hamish Orr Ewing, and has offices in Bristol, Plymouth, Stoke-on-Trent and Northampton. Hydrock currently employs over 300 people across three divisions: Hydrock Consultants, Hydrock Contracting, and Hydrock Special Projects. It came out 4th in the 2008 list of The Sunday Times "100 Best Companies to Work For".

Its major current endeavour is the stabilisation of Combe Down and Bathampton Down Mines in the city of Bath, funded by English Partnerships.
