Dance, Pucca, Dance

"Dance, Pucca, Dance" is an episode of "Pucca".

Plot summary

The Sooga Village is invited to a costume party held in The Go Rong Restaurant. The Master Chefs (Uncle Dumpling, Linguini, and Ho) had created ideas for Pucca (a Princess, fairy and a Chef) to dress up as at the party. But she comes up with a better costume.

Back at Garu's ninja home, a mysterious stranger approaches. Garu answers the door, only to find a replica of himself. The replica kisses Garu.

The stranger takes off a mask to reveal its actually Pucca dressed up as Garu. (Note: The Pucca dressed up as Garu image was also one of Vooz's stationary releases and is constantly used.) Garu finding out its Pucca, shuts the door on her. But she sneaks inside his house and attacks.

At the party everything has started and the Master Chefs are dressed up in the costumes they came up for Pucca. Ho wears the Princess, Linguini wears the fairy and Uncle Dumpling wears the chef. Santa Claus is dressed as Elvis Presley. Abyo wears a yellow tiger suit, Ching wears a noodle box costume and Ssoso wears a bear costume. When Pucca enters as Garu, they ask 'him' that he had to wear a costume. But she peels it off to show its her.

She then brings Garu in. Who's dressed as a daisy, wrapped tightly enough to restrict any movement. Everyone looks at him and laughs. He tries to walk back out the door but Pucca brings him to the dance floor. Outside, Tobe and his ninjas are watching them enter and Tobe devises a plan to attack him while there in disguise. Using only novelty disguises Tobe and his ninja join the party.

Tobe tells them if anyone was to find out who they were, they should attack anyone in a costume, but they end up attacking each other.

While Pucca and Garu dance, Tobe gets a metal clamp, and takes Pucca who is disguised as Garu. Abyo and Garu spot it happening enough to assume that Tobe and his Ninja.

Tobe tries to fight 'Garu' but is not able to. Tobe becomes a bit scared and wonders what happened to his arch nemesis. But Pucca peels off her mask to show its her. He asks where Garu is and she points to the ground, where Garu is rolling all around the dance floor trying to break free. Tobe laughs and laughs and says that it's the most dumbest costume ever made and other unflattering things. Insulted, Pucca runs down Tobe and punches him into a bucket of water along with all of his ninja, who were fighting.

The episode ends with Pucca using 'he loves me, he loves me not' petal pick (the traditional flower petal picking of love and heart break) on Garu. It ends with 'he loves me' and ends with a kiss.

Trivia

* Throughout the episode, it is plainly obvious that Garu's flower costume has eight petals. However, when Pucca is playing "loves me, loves me not," a ninth petal mysteriously appears.
