Eoin Larkin (born 17 July, 1985 in Kilkenny, Ireland) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club James Stephens and with the Kilkenny senior inter-county team.

Playing career

Club

Larkin plays his club hurling with the famous James Stephens club in Kilkenny. He won a senior county title with 'the village] side in 2004. This was later converted into a Leinster club title. Larkin won a second consecutive county title in 2005 before later claiming a second Leinster club title. The club later defeated Athnery in the championship decider, giving Larkin an All-Ireland club title.

Inter-county

Larkin first came to prominence on the inter-county scene in the early 2000s as a member of the Kilkenny minor hurling team. He was a member of the panel as the team captured Leinster and All-Ireland honours in 2002. Larkin later joined the county under-21 panel where he won both Leinster and All-Ireland medals in 2004. He won a second Leinster title at this grade in 2005. By this stage Larkin had also joined the Kilkenny senior panel. Larkin won his first National Hurling League medal that year before later capturing his first Leinster title. 'The Cat's were later defeated by Galway in the All-Ireland semi-final in one of the games of the decade.
