Laura Marney

Laura Marney is a Scottish novelist and short-story writer.

Biography

Laura Marney was born and raised in Glasgow. She studied Business Administration at university and afterwards helped found a theatre group. [Theatre Raskolnikov. [Interviewed in the Barcelona Review in 2005.] At various times she has worked as a drug rep, charity fundraiser and aerobics instructor. Laura is an alumnus of the MLitt in Creative Writing at Glasgow University, and now teaches there. She has written four novels and numerous short stories. She has also written for radio and television.
