Erhan "Pitbull Attack" Deniz (born in July 28, 1985, Pendik-Istanbul) is a Turkish Kickboxer who currently fights in K-1 as the kickboxing champion of Turkey. He trains both in Mejiro Gym, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Global Gym, based in Istanbul. His nickname comes from his passion on Pit-bull dogs.

Career

Erhan began to training when he was just 10 years old. His first discipline was boxing before switching to Muay Thai. He has been to Thailand several times with the Turkish national team for season camps. He has relished his name in a Pro Tournament Ring Masters which was held in Haldun Alagas Sport Hall in Umraniye, Istanbul on 25 May 2007. The winner was declared as "the K-1 star of Turkey". He dispatched his two opponents Hasan Gul in semis and Eyup Kuscu in final fight and became the champion of Turkey.

His last fight was against Swiss fighter Azem Maksutaj on 7 September in Bratislava, Slovakia. He was dispatched after 3 Rounds by decision. on 2 November 2007, he will compete in K-1 Fighting Network Turkey 2007 in Istanbul, against 7 international opponents. The winner of the tournament will go on to fight in the Las Vegas GP of K-1 in 2008.

Debut in K-1

Deniz was invited to K-1 World Grand Prix 2007 in Hong Kong to fight against Donk Wook Kim, a Korean fighter whose martial arts background is Sirum (Korean wrestling). The event was held on August 5 2007 in AsiaWorld-Expo Arena. He fought and dispatched his opponent by way of KO in the opening seconds of the second round in the reserve fight of the tournament. He entered in the tournament, although due to any injuries in Quarter-finals, he was not able to compete against Musashi as he was injured from two illegal kicks below the belt in the first round against Yong-Soo Park.
