Moisés Torrealba (born in Barinas, Venezuela, January 5, 1978), son of musician Asunción Torrealba, who was director of the José Ángel Lamas Music School, being his father his first teacher. Torrealba begins his musical learning executing the maracas, from the age of three, later receives classes of mandolin and cuatro by his father and other teachers of the Lamas school

At the age of eight, starts to study the bandola llanera, and initiates his execution by a far persistence, participating and sharing scenes with artists like, Alirio Díaz, Simón Díaz, María Teresa Chacín, Saúl Vera, Eddy Marcano, Cheo Hurtado, Alexis Cárdenas, Ismael Querales, Carota Ñema y Taja, Ensamble Gurrufío, Raíces de Venezuela, Arcano, among others. On March, 2000 interpreted for the first time the Concierto de Aranjuez along with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, composition written by Joaquín Rodrigo for classic guitar, adapted for bandola by Moisés Torrealba, in 2002 records with the Ensamble Gurrufío, Sesiones con Moisés Torrealba. Also has made diverse tours and concerts in countries like Norway, France, London, Spain, Brazil, Curaçao and Colombia, having internationalized this instrument in representation of Venezuela.
