"Foolish Heart" is a pop/R&B song written by Steve Perry for the band Journey. It was covered by Filipino singer Nina as her third single in the middle of 2003 in the Philippines. e single.

Release

As Nina became very popular for her breakthrough hit "Jealous," radio airplay of the song increased rapidly, even without the video being released yet. The construction of the song's remake was far more different than that of the original, as the melody was completely played through an acoustic guitar. It was one of the acoustic breakthrough singles of 2003, which was an ongoing trend that year. The song is famous for the whistle register sung by Nina just before she ends the song, which immediately became her trademark.

Video

The video depicts Nina in a flower shop attending to a guy in particular. She becomes bored being alone, thus she results to singing and counting the days passing by as to how she would get the guy's attention. In the end, they guy she likes finally comes to her in the shop and invites her to watch a concert by Barbie's Cradle.
