Steve Dille(born March 16 1945) is an American politician in the Minnesota State Senate. He is currently a member of the Republican Party of Minnesota.

Background

Dille was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1945.

He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1963, obtained a B.S. from the University of Minnesota, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1969. He was a Rodeo Cowboy.

Dille currently lives in Dassel, Minnesota with his wife Pamela, has 4 children, and 2 grandchildren.

Career in Politics

Dille was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives from district 21A in 1986 as a Republican, and was re-elected in 1988, and 1990.In 1992 Dille was elected to the Minnesota Senate from district 20. He was re-elected in 1996 and 2000.In 2002, Dille was re-elected to the Minnesota Senate, now from district 18, and was re-elected in 2006.
