Jeff Bujak is a pianist/keyboardist from
Syracuse, New York. Born on June 6, 1979, he began classical piano lessons at age 5. Since then, he has performed in, with or toured with Remnants of the Addiction, Transcendental Blue, Somebody's Closet, Shokazoba Afrobeat Battalion, Ryan Montbleau Band, BuzzUniverse, The Magnetic Pull, The Phil DaRosa Band, and many other bands. But his predominant and most notable accomplishment is his solo show just called "Jeff Bujak". He now resides in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Jeff Bujak, the solo project, has progressive piano songwriting with electronica rhythms behind it. Based on classical and jazz progressions, the 10-15 minute songs progress through multiple time signatures, tempos and rhythms.
Peaces of Man and Machine
"Peaces of Man and Machine" is Jeff Bujak's debut solo recording. It contains 12 non-stop tracks and plays for 78 minutes and 6 seconds. According to the album booklet, the album was released on
November 11 2006and was engineered, produced, recorded and performed by Bujak alone. All album artwork was also created by Bujak.
The concept of this album is based on Bujak's life. According to his bio, every song was written with a specific time period in mind. These periods were put to music and lyrics, with an underlying man vs. machine storyline.
Recording began on
December 28 2005at Lizardflag Studios in Northampton. The final track was laid on September 3, 2006. Mixing and mastering took about a month.

Building: An Arsenal
"Building: An Arsenal" is Bujak's second recording to be released on Lizardflag Recordings and the Homegrown Music Network. Like its predecessor, this album is also a non-stop conceptual recording and lasts 76 minutes.
'Building' has a storyline about a woman climbing the steps of a building to jump and commit suicide. The storyline is scattered with metaphorical content relating to life, time and nature. In the end, the woman's goal is succeeded.
Recording began on
October 13 2007at Lizardflag Studios in Northampton. The final track was laid on December 7, 2007. Mixing and mastering took about 2 weeks.
