Bruce Campbell was a fictional character on the Australian soap opera "Home and Away" he was portrayed by Chris Haywood.
Bruce was a widower who lived with his grandchildren on a farm. He did not believe in sending Annie and Geoff to school, and they grew up on the farm pretty much isolated from the rest of the world. This was until Brad Armstrong and Sally Fletcher told him that Annie needed to go to school as she was under 15 (legal dropout age), otherwise he was breaking the law. Problem after problem occurred for the family and Annie and Geoff ended up moving to the Bay. Bruce finally accepted Geoff and Annie's wishes and told him that he (and their parents would be) was proud of them. He watched Geoff playing rugby and later that day collapsed on the farm and died.
