Krystyna Hołuj-Radzikowska

Krystyna Hołuj-Radzikowska (5 February 1931, Lvov – 29 November 2006) was a Polish chess Woman Grandmaster.

She was nine times Polish Champion (1951, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1959, 1966, and 1969). Krystyna Holuj tied for 15-16th at Moscow 1955 (Candidates Tournament, Olga Rubtsova won). Krystyna Radzikowska tied for 7-8th at Ohrid 1971 (Candidates Tournament, Nana Alexandria won). [http://www.mark-weeks.com/chess/wcc-plwo.htm World Chess Championship for Women]

She played five times for Poland in the Women's Chess Olympiads:
* In 1957, at first board in 1st WChOlympiad in Emmen (+9 –2 =0);
* In 1963, at second board in 2nd WChOlympiad in Split (+2 –4 =2);
* In 1966, at first board in 3rd WChOlympiad in Oberhausen (+3 –6 =2);
* In 1969, at first board in 4th WChOlympiad in Lublin (+3 –3 =4);

Hołuj-Radzikowska was awarded the Woman International Master (WIM) title in 1955 and the WGM title in 1984.
