Javed Malik

He qualified as a Lawyer and practices in London and Dubai. He hosts and produces a popular Current (and International) Affairs talk show on ARY Digital Network [http://www.aryoneworld.net/] and has been associated with journalism for many years. Articles written by him ( listed below) have appeared in various publications around the world, and he appears frequently on International Television channels like "Al Jazeera English", Dubai TV, Prime TV and Pakistan TV on issues relating to Pakistan British Muslim Issues and Muslim World Issues

His hosts his popular current affairs talk show INSIGHT with Javed Malik, since 2002 in which prominent personalities have appeared including Presidents, Prime Ministers, Senators and Judges. He was the only Television journalist to interview Benazir Bhutto several times during the last months of her life. Javed Malik is also the Executive Director of the London-based "The World Forum".

Appointed Pakistan's Ambassador at Large

On 26 July 2008, Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani appointed Javed Malik on a top Diplomatic position of Pakistan's Ambassador at Large. In his new role, Javed Malik will be working on activating the overseas Pakistani community worldwide, initiate activities to improve bilateral relations, attract foreign investment into Pakistan, and promote a positive image of Pakistan. Documentary films made by Javed Malik

Javed Malik has made a few documentary films and short films mainly of a current affairs nature. He also produced and directed a Series called "The Muslim World" which dealt with the aftermath of 9/11.

In April 2008, Javed Malik released his Documentary on the Life of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in presence of the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani who called it a historic record for future generations.* [http://www.pak-times.com/2008/04/01/powers-useless-if-public-not-served-gillani/]

He recently announced his new project called "The Politics of Pakistan" a political documentary which discusses the crucial subject of why democracy has never really developed in Pakistan, it will also feature 4 former prime ministers and Presidents of Pakistan along with leading political figures.
