Përmet

Përmet is a town in Albania, capital of Përmet District. The population is 19,800. It is known for its cuisine, wine and raki.In the year 1960 professors from East Germany take samples to termal water near Permet for analysis and the result was that water is curative one that helps for different kind of desise.

The river runs along the mountain chain Trebeshine-Dhembel-Nemercke, between Trebeshine and Dhembel, and through the Kelcyra gorge.

Përmet is also home to the football club SK Përmeti.
