Arab Monetary Fund

The Arab Monetary Fund is a Regional Arab Organization, Founded 1976, and has started operations in 1977, it is a working sub-organization to the Arab League.

Objectives

Its Main Objective is to correct and balance the Payment of the Member states, removing payment restrictions between members, improving the Arab Monetary Cooperation, encouraging the development of Arab Financial Markets, Paving the way for a Unified Arab Currency and finally encourage and promote trade between member states.

Location and Members

the AMF's Headquarter is in the city of Abu Dhabi Capital of United Arab Emirates. Member Countries (22) are:

Organization Structure

the Organization is made out of three main branches under the supervision of the Director General chairman of the Board Dr. Jassim Al Mannai

the Three extension branches are Offices, Departments and Committees, with several other extensions, covering Administrations, Loans, Legal Affairs, Internal Audit Affairs, treasury and Investments and others.
