Westernport Highway . Originally named the Dandenong-Hastings Rd, a single carriageway road, it was progressively upgraded to a divided highway between Frankston-Cranbourne Rd and the South Gippsland Freeway during the 1990s as the freight traffic from the Port of Hastings became more important to Melbourne.

Route

The highway begins as a dual carriageway with two lanes running in each direction and between the South Gippsland Freeway and Hall Road the highway actually has the route shield .
