Franquet's Epauletted Fruit Bat ("Epomops franqueti") is a species of bat in the Pteropodidae family.

It is found in Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, and possibly Zambia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, and dry savanna.

Franquet's epauletted fruit bat is one of three species of African fruit bat found to be asymptomatically infected with the Ebola virus. It is not known whether these species are incidental hosts or a reservoir of "Ebolavirus" infection for humans and other terrestrial mammals.
