The Crimson-mantled Woodpecker (Colaptes rivolii) is a bird species in the woodpecker family (Picidae). It was formerly placed in the genus Piculus (Benz et al., 2006). Its scientific name rivolii was given in honor of André Masséna, duke of Rivoli[citation needed].

It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
