American (1911 automobile)

American (1911 automobile)

The American was made by the American Automobile Manufacturing Co, New Albany, Indiana from 1911 to 1912. It had a two-stroke engine and was made from 1911 to 1912. After that, there is no record of passenger cars made by the company, though it made trucks into 1913. It absorbed Jonz Auto Co of Beatrice, Nebraska in 1910 and was later connected with the Ohio Falls Motor Co.
