It is published and released on every Sunday of each week and is available from supermarkets, garages and newsagents. Although the first editions are free, later editions are printed but are available at a cost. The newspaper is part of the KOS Media publishing company along with its sister title The Saturday Observer which is also available free of charge.

The main focus of the paper is to provide the County with a regional, informative news and a sport service. The Kos group introduced during summer 2007 seven new free localised newspapers for most areas of Kent.
