Appeal to Reason (newspaper)

The "Appeal to Reason" was a left-wing alternative newspaper that endorsed the Socialist Party of America. Upton Sinclair's novel The Jungle was first published in Appeal to Reason. [Howard Zinn, "A People's History of the United States"]
