Paul McCarthy (born 9 January 1985 in Waterford) is an Irish football midfielder who currently plays for Waterford United [http://www.waterford-united.ie/firstteam.php] .

Played part of last season with the Blues U-21 squad before returning to his hometown club Tramore. A midfielder with a good touch who will be looking to help the Blues get back into the FAI Premier League.
