Bad Penny is a song by blues guitarist Rory Gallagher, which appeared on his 1979 album, Top Priority.

Bad Penny is mainly based on a three-chord pattern, starting in D minor, except for the chorus.The song was played live multiple times, and was often improvised on, because of its simple structure.
