Ellis Clary

Ellis Clary

Ellis "Cat" Clary (September 11, 1916 - June 2, 2000) was a professional baseball player in the 1940's. Clary's career began with the Washington Senators in 1942, hitting a respectable .275 batting average in 240 at bats as an infielder. In 1943 he was traded during the season to the St. Louis Browns. He played with the Browns the rest of his career, until 1945. His career batting average was .263.
