Bobby Knutt

Bobby Knutt (born Robert Andrew Wass 25 November 1945 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England) is an actor on British television who started out in entertainment as a stand-up comedian.

Biography

He was first known for his performances on the Granada Television show "The Comedians". He has since acted in many British television comedies and dramas including "Last of the Summer Wine, Heartbeat, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Our Friends in the North" and "Coronation Street".

He is married to Donna Hartley-Wass, who found fame as a bronze medalist in the 1980 Olympic games in Moscow for th 4x400m relay, when know as Donna Hartley before her marriage to Robert Wass.

In December 2008 Bobby will play the role of the Chinese Police Man in 'Aladdin' at Sheffield Lyceum Theatre.
