Alderson currently portrays Matthew Buchanan on the ABC soap, "One Life to Live", a role he has played since May 2001. He is the third child to play the role of Matthew. He acts alongside his sister, Kristen, who plays Starr Manning. He will be starring in the film "Reservation Road" opposite Mark Ruffalo and Joaquin Phoenix this fall. The film opens October 26. He will play Sanford Clark in the 2008 film "Changeling".
