"Something For The Weekend" is a BBC Two TV show, broadcast on Sunday morning. The show is presented by former Soccer AM presenter Tim Lovejoy, and also features Amanda Hamilton, chef Simon Rimmer, and mixologist Andy Pearson.

how format

The shows main presenters: Tim Lovejoy (Soccer AM), Simon Rimmer (Chef) and Amanda Hamilton, are joined by a various cocktail expert and a gadget expert for the show as well as special guests. The Presenters are often replaced while they are away.

Throughout the show, Simon Rimmer (assisted at times by Tim Lovejoy, Amanda and/or the celebrity guests) cooks three courses, and a lazy brunch. The recipes are available on the BBC website for a few days before each show airs, allowing viewers to buy the ingredients in advance, and cook along with the show.

The show always follows the same format including the 4 cooking segments, usually 2 guest interviews, 2 clips of the presenters choice of show (usually having been on BBC that week), a Real Hustle clip, a "Deja View" clip of an old programme (guess the year), a cocktail segment and a gadget round-up of 3 per show.
