John Laskowski

John Laskowski

John Laskowski (born June 7, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana) is an American former professional basketball player.

A 6'6" guard, Laskowski played basketball at Indiana University from 1972 to 1975. He averaged 10.8 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game in three seasons as his team's sixth man, earning him the nickname "Super-Sub." He played two seasons with the Bulls, averaging 7.1 points and 2.4 rebounds. [basketball-reference]

Since retiring as a player, Laskowski has worked as a television color commentator and play-by-play analyst for Indiana University basketball games. He also authored the 2003 book "Tales from the Hoosier Locker Room" (ISBN 1582615845). He was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 1999.
