* 1921 - The station begins operating as Yatsu-Kaigan Station
* 1936 - The station is renamed to Yatsu-Yūen Station
* c.1939 - The station is renamed to Yatsu-Kaigan Station again

* 1984 - Yatsu-Yūen Amusement park ceases operation, and the station is renamed to the current
