Recently, Catasauqua built a new high school in Northampton and remodeled the existing high school, changing it into the Catasauqua Middle School.

The old middle school, Lincoln Middle School, has been purchased by Allentown developer Abraham Atiyeh at a cost of $900,000. The building will be converted into nothing

The Lincoln Middle School is a planned sight for The Thomas Paine Charter School for the 2009-10 school year, if Catasauqua and Northampton School districts approve the plan in December 2008.
