Henry Johnson (born January 28 1954, Chicago, Illinois) is an American soul jazz guitarist, probably best known for his work with musicians such as Jack McDuff, Hank Crawford, Sonny Stitt and Ramsey Lewis. He has recorded at least three albums as leader for the MCA Records label. [cite web

He currently plays with his group the Henry Johnson Organ Express featuring tenor saxophonist, Peter Roothaan, Greg Rockingham on drums, and Chris Foreman on organ. The group has recorded an album with Nancy Wilson, and has played with others including Freddy Cole, Fathead Newman, and George Benson.
