New ownership for WRXW

In July, 2008, Jacksonville, Florida-based Backyard Broadcasting sold WRXW to Inner City Broadcasting. And in August, WRXW had briefly stunted, making its listeners think the station was about to switch to classic rock. But actually, the only on-air change WRXW had made--under orders from Inner City Broadcasting--was dropping the Dallas-based, nationally syndicated morning show, Lex and Terry. And "The Morning Wood"--the station's "live and local" morning show (featuring program director Brad Stevens, Mandy Scott and Beaver)--had made its surprising comeback on the morning of August 4.
