Kontron AG (TecDAX 30 KBC) designs and manufactures embedded computer modules, boards and systems.

The Kontron AG serves OEMs, system integrators and application providers of different market segments (amongst others: Industrial Automation, Communications, Transportation, Test & Measurement, Medical, Governmental). Kontron develops, manufactures and sells its products worldwide. Kontron is a Premier Member of the Intel Communications Alliance.

The holding of the corporate group has its top location in Eching. The corporate group consists of the "Kontron Embedded Computers GmbH" (Eching and Roding), the "Kontron Embedded Modules GmbH" (Deggendorf), and the "Kontron Modular Computers GmbH" (Kaufbeuren). Other locations can be found in Pittsburgh, San Diego, Montreal, Taipei, Moscow and Beijing. The global selling is supported by numerous sales offices in more than 20 countries worldwide.
