Olympia Larissas Basketball Club (BC) is a Greek professional basketball sports club founded in 1979, making it one of the youngest sports clubs in Greece. The club is based in Larissa, a Greek city located in the Thessaly periphery with a population of 124,376 and equally distant from Athens and Thessaloniki. Its colors are orange and blue. Olympia Larissa's home arena is the Larissa Neapolis Arena.

Famous Greek players that have played with the club include: Giorgos Printezis, Dimos Dikoudis, Giorgos Tsiaras, and Nikos Ekonomou.

History

Olympia Larissas BC is a Greek prospect team that has been ascending of late in the Greek Championship, A1 Ethniki. During the 2006-2007 season, Olympia Larissa placed 7th in the regular season and qualified to the play-offs for the first time, with core leaders such as former University of Florida standout Matt Walsh, recent 2007 NBA Draft second round draft pick Giorgos Printezis and Giorgos Tsiaras.

Olympia Larissas is a team composed of young players on the rise with a promising future. In the 2007-2008 season of the Greek League, Olympia qualified for the play-offs for the second consecutive year, placing 8th in regular season. In the 2007-2008 season of the EuroCup the team reached the stage of the Top 16 and that same season in the Greek Cup the club reached the quarter-finals.
