Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival Inc.) is an annual summer Shakespeare in the park theatre festival founded in 1985, which takes place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. From 1991 until 2001, its artistic director was Henry Woolf.

In addition to productions of plays by William Shakespeare and his contemporaries, the festival's activities include: medieval feasts; workshops; tours; art displays; special matinees; and a free community stage. It is a major Canadian tourism summer destination.

2008 Season

"The Tempest" and "Henry IV, Part One" will be performed for the 2008 season.

Community Stage

This free stage will show local talent in the form of music, theatre and dance performances.

Accommodation

Saskatoon has several hotels in the immediate down town area such as the Delta Bessborough Hotel, Sheraton Cavalier, Ramada Renaissance, Radisson, Hilton Garden Inn, and Park Town Hotel. There are also several hotels just minutes away from the down town core. Saskatoon also features camping facilities at the Gordie Howe campground.
