Lord Alfred Paget

Lord Alfred Henry Paget (26 June, 1816 – 24 August 1888) was a British soldier and courtier.

Born 1816, fourth son of the 1st Marquess of Anglesey. Lieutenant, Royal Horse Guards; Lieutenant-Colonel (unattached), 1854. Liberal Member of Parliament for Lichfield from 1837 until defeated 1865. Married 1847 Cecilia, 2nd daughter and co-heiress of George Thomas Wyndham, of Cromer Hall, Norfolk. Chief Equerry and Clerk Marshal to the Queen, July 1846 to March 1852, December 1852 to March 1858, and from June 1859. Died 24 August 1888.
