Wood Green railway station was a railway station built on the Grand Junction Railway in 1837. It served the Wood Green area of Wednesbury, and was located near to junction 9 of the M6 motorway.

It was also known at opening as Bescot Bridge, and was the Grand Junction Railway's main station for Walsall. [ [http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.asp?compid=36190 British History Online] ] Bescot Bridge station closed in 1850, and the new Wood Green Station was opened on the same site in 1881. The station closed in 1941.
